Christophe Vandenbriele is a cardiologist and cardiac intensive care at the Heart Center OLV Aalst (Belgium) and at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals in London. He was trained in cardiac intensive care, in particular mechanical circulatory support.
Sylwia Sławek-Szmyt, is interventional cardiologist at the Poznan University Clinical Hospital, Poland. Sylwia qualified from Poznan Medical University in 2014 and she completed an interventional cardiology fellowship in 2022. Her current research interests include pulmonary interventions, especially in pulmonary embolism, coronary and structural interventions, as well as intensive cardiac care.
Federico Pappalardo is currently Director of CardioThoracic and Vascular Anesthesia and Intensive Care at AO SS Antonio e Biagio e Cesare Arrigo in Alessandria and at AOU Maggiore della Carità in Novara. His major fields of interest are mechanical circulatory support, coagulation, biocompatibility and bioengineering. He has published numerous papers and original research on innovative concepts in the field of short and long term MCS, and has developed original patents for medical devices.
Kurt Huber, MD, FESC, FACC, FAHA, is director of the Department of Cardiology and intensive Care Medicine at the Clinic Ottakring, director of the Department of Cardiology at the Clinic Hietzing and Dean of Research and Professor for Acute and Interventional Cardiology at the Sigmund Freud University, Medical School, Vienna, Austria. He is an interventional cardiologist with over 35 years of experience.

Umit Yasar Sinan is working as Associated Professor of Cardiology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology. He is also an academician at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology.
